Between Baseline Road and the Florida Greenway in Ocala Marion County Florida, the Florida Trail crosses a set of rail road tracks.  These tracks are very rarely used.  The Florida Trail crosses many rail road tracks in it journey through the state of Florida.

I used my hike-cam to video me hiking along that part of the trail.  Just another one of my Hike Casts.

I am finally back in shape. As you may know from a previous blog I had taken some time off from hiking – Big Mistake. I did realize how quickly you can loose your hiking wind. I was out of shape.

A couple of short consistent hikes later I am feeling much better on the trail. This is especially since the weather has changed and it is so nice to hike in the morning.

Pleasant hiking is definitely back here in Central Florida, Ocala and Marion County. Hiking is fun once again, not that it had ever become a burden or chore.

During the summer months, the heat can make hiking less fun than usual. Additionally, I am hiking with my small video cam and have already posted two hike casts and have a few more in production.

I plan on doing a voice over narration on the next hike cast and would love some input on what you would like to hear. Even when I was feeling a bit out of breath, the trail was and is a great place to spend a couple of hours in the morning.

I am attempting to return to my 3 mornings a week schedule. Great exercise and it is a great way to relax, focus and meditate as I prepare for the day.
